Coach Mavia - 8U Cheer
This is my second year coaching 8U with the Dolphins as well as the 8u All-stars, I am passionate about our squad and the girls. I have a high-energy coaching style with an emphasis on teamwork, discipline, and technique as well as consistently encouraging each athlete to reach their full potential thru encouragement, hard work, and positivity. I am committed to the girls on the squad and I expect the same commitment in return. As dedicated mentor I also place a strong focus on building character and confidence, helping athletes grow not only as cheerleaders but as individuals.
Outside of coaching I am a full time working mother of 2, I have been married to my husband Coach Joey for 16 years. I love to cook, I enjoy being outside and I adore cats and I have a tendancy to rescue them. I am thrilled to continue contributing to the success of the CV Dolphins Cheer program and I am committed to creating a supportive and fun environment for all the girls.

Coach Sara - 10U Cheer
I am a mother of 7 awesome children. I am a preschool teacher/ administrator supervisor. I have been coaching cheer for about 3 years now, coaching ages 6 all the way up to 14. I love seeing the girls push themselves and accomplish their goals. My mission this year is for the girls to achieve at least one of their main cheer goals and to win that trophy for first place. Let’s go Dolphins!

Coach Leilani - 12U Cheer
2nd year Dolphins cheer coach. Last seasons 10U Head Coach and All-Stars Coach. Mother, mentor, & lover of all things cheer. This season we are striving for success in every aspect.
I’ve been a dancer since age 12. Notably dancing for Ceres High and MJC. Specializing in Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Modern dance. I have danced in three MJC productions including two Jam n Jive’s, and one Modern showcase. My favorite part of cheerleading is the dance aspect. So as a former dancer, you can expect greatness from me as a coach, choreographer, and mentor. This is my first year coaching, so I am determined to make it an amazing season! I see 1st Place and the National Championship in our future!

Coach Chris - 6U Football
My name is Christian Rodriguez but you can call me Coach Chris. When it comes to football I grew up playing all the way up to high school. I was a student to the game before anything. Being able to teach and show the players the fundamentals of football and seeing the boys have fun out there is my goal. Go Dolphins!!

Coach Lee Gaines-8U Football
Coach Lee Gaines is a dedicated family man and proud father of four, bringing a deep passion for football and youth development to the game. With four seasons of experience coaching youth football, he has been committed to teaching young athletes the fundamentals, discipline, and teamwork that football instills.
His own playing career spans multiple levels, including two years of youth football, three years at the high school level, and two years of JUCO football. This firsthand experience gives him a strong understanding of the game and a desire to pass on his knowledge to the next generation.
Coach Gaines believes in building character both on and off the field, fostering a positive and competitive environment for his players. His love for football, coaching, and mentoring youth continues to drive his commitment to developing young athletes into skilled players and strong individuals.

Coach Angel - 10U Football
My coaching journey began in 2002 with the Manteca Chargers. I was Head Coach of the Varsity level from 02-07 and as Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the 08-09 seasons. After taking some time off I returned to coaching in 2014 with the Jr Timberwolves JV as OC. Most recently I was with the Ripon Knights Novice in 22 as OC and in 24 I had the great opportunity to join the Central Valley Dolphins 8U as yet again the OC and we finished a great undefeated season bringing home a Superbowl! What drives me to continue to coach is watching these kids evolve and develop and at the same time making it fun for kids and parents to be a part of. Helping instill confidence and a work ethic that will help drive them into adulthood. Also when you now are coaching the kids of your previous players and those previous players still refer to you as coach after all the years that have passed, it is a feeling that cannot be explained, only experienced. I'm grateful and excited for this opportunity as 10U Head Coach. Now is the time to start gathering all the pieces for our puzzle. Let's go Fins up!

Coach Sefa - 12U Football
A native of San Francisco, CA, Sefa has always had a heart and passion for the inner city youth. As a player Sefa was always known as JT. He was a 4-year starter, attending Novato High School, where he served as a team captain for 2 years playing on both sides of the ball. In 2019, he launched LW Training. In those five years, he has mentored and coached countless athletes, building leaders through youth sports. To whom much is given, much is required, and he is committed to developing all student athletes through integrity, hard work, discipline and sportsmanship.

Coach Brandon - 14U Football
With 11 years of football playing experience spanning youth, high school, junior college, and college levels, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the field. For the past 7 years, I’ve dedicated myself to coaching youth football, driven by a desire to help kids in the community develop both athletically and mentally. My coaching philosophy centers on building confidence, love, and a deep understanding of the game. I believe in creating a safe space for each athlete by getting to know them personally, as there’s more to life than just football. I emphasize accountability and a competitive spirit, as these qualities are crucial not only on the field but also in life.
